Help Make Your Team More Resilient, Happy & Productive

A team that copes better with uncertainty and change, suffers less from the feelings of stress and anxiety.  Confidence and resilience replaces fear and doubt.

Good working relationships and emotional intelligence, coupled with foresight, clarity and creativity, allows teams and individuals to navigate with confidence, and thrive despite uncertainty.

The effectiveness of mindfulness in the workplace to help employees excel has been proven by millions of studies worldwide. And while it is relatively new to New Zealand, more and more businesses are utilising mindfulness  techniques and reaping the benefits. This includes addressing workplace health and safety issues such as stress and fatigue.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Sony, Deutsche Bank, and England’s NHS, have fully embraced mindfulness and the many benefits it brings to its employees.

Call me and make this a reality for your business, organisation, or workplace too!

“Over time with mindfulness, we learn to develop the inner resources that will help us navigate through difficult, trying, and stressful situations with more ease, comfort, and grace.”

Team Building Through Mindfulness at Work Training

I am a fully qualified and experienced Mindfulness Coach. I teaches secular mindfulness based on the MBSR program (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction).

Although in-house mindfulness training can be customised to suit your team’s goals, I will typically cover:

  • What is mindfulness?
  • Benefits of mindfulness
  • What is stress and how mindfulness can help
  • How to boost your mental resilience
  • Improving team performance with mindfulness
  • How to practice mindfulness
  • How mindfulness can help with negative recurring thoughts, and more…

What is Mindfulness?

Simply put, mindfulness means awareness. Mindfulness is paying attention to and focussing on the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future.

Staying in touch with the present in this way may lead to having an entirely different experience of a situation. The focus on the present can lead to feeling less stuck, or recognising more strength, balance, and confidence in oneself.

Mindfulness makes you more focused, creative, and productive.

Less Stress at Work for a Happier Workplace Experience

There is compelling scientific evidence that people are better able to cope with the stresses of modern professional life when they learn and regularly practice mindfulness.

In 2010, Hoffman et al. conducted a meta-analysis of 39 studies that explored the use of mindfulness-based stress reduction and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.

Find out more about this study, its findings and how mindfulness may help you and your team.
