Yoga is an ancient system of physical exercises and postures, breathing practices, and relaxation intended to integrate the person’s body, mind, and spirit. It originated in India several thousand years ago.

Yoga can be simple and easy. It doesn’t mean standing on your head for one hour. The postures and exercises used are tailored to the individual needs. They can be made simple for beginners with no knowledge of Yoga.

Jamila’s class is based on the principles of ‘Sivananda Yoga’ and is a Hatha Yoga class. That means it includes breathing, stretches, postures and relaxation. For class times click here.
